'The Wait' | Documentary Short 

This short documentary follows young wildlife photographer, Michel D'Oultremont, from his hometown in Belgium to the Carpathian Mountains in Romania on the trail of wild bison.

After discovering Michel's work at an exhibition in London, director David Hayes and I got in touch with him to pitch the idea of a short documentary about his work and process.

After successfully securing funding through the London-based production company, Contra Agency, we managed to get the WWF on board with the project.

The shoot was both challenging and exciting - with temperatures below zero and epic walks through Transylvania to catch a glimpse of the wild animals. The film was then picked up and showcased on National Geographic
